- Born in Duluth MN USA - Fronted an early Punk/New Wave band: "Straight Face" in the early 80's - Released "Animal Angst" as a solo artist. - Became a performance artist, ("Standstill," "The Ritualistic Rules of Gender Acquisition - Past/Present/Future,") Painter, installation artist, (Rifle Sport Art Gallery,) and filmmaker ("Stolen Shadows," "Unforgiven Fire," "My Skin Is A Map," "HorseHead," "Slap-Drag-Ons.") - Began to untangle Hi/r Transgenderism. - Became :"Venus DeMars." - Founded and fronts the Dark-Glam band: "All The Pretty Horses" - Was the subject of a documentary about Hi/r work and life: "Venus of Mars" (http://www.venusofmars.com) - Now works and lives in Minneapolis MN
