Teo Nalani

I'm teo (he/him), a multi media animator, illustrator, and filmmaker.

I grew up in arizona, graduated sva in nyc, and am currently based in san diego, ca. I love to play around with different mediums and forms of storytelling, but specialize in hand drawn animation and illustration. My work mixes my imagination and memories with observations of our beautiful chunky planet. I've finished 4 animated short films, screening at film festivals such as NYICFF, Fest Anca, Asifa East, CAFF, Changing Minds, and others.

My family being from Guam and Hawai'i, I have a heart full of salt water, reflected in a long term project "CHICKEN SCRATCH OCEAN" aiming to use creativity and collaboration to help fight for healthy oceans, and express the joy we get from our big blue.
