Stella Racca (she/they) is a young queer filmmaker based in Toronto, Canada. She graduated summa cum laude from York University in 2023 with a BFA in Film Production and a minor in Human Rights and Equity. They are passionate about cinematography, production design, and directing narrative and documentary films. For her, one of the most compelling things about filmmaking is doing so from a queer perspective. Her work has screened at Inside Out, the Gender Equity in Media Festival in Vancouver, Exposures Trans Film Festival, BIPOC International Film Festival, Prague International Film Festival, and YOUKI International Youth Media Festival.
