Biography

Puppett (they/them) is a director and actor based out of Los Angeles. Their work has been featured on USA Today, HuffPost, and Out.com. Puppett's professional directorial debut Wedlocked is a short comedy about same sex divorce inequality. Penned by Guinevere Turner (American Psycho, The L Word, Charlie Says) and produced with Christine Moore and Ally Iseman, Wedlocked screened in over 40 film festivals worldwide and is now available on Revry. Puppett's short film Glenda, a love letter to Twin Peaks set 25 years later, premiered at the 2016 Slamdance Film Festival. They've since directed an episode of the Emmy-nominated short form series Razor Tongue, from creator Rain Valdez (Transparent, Lopez), as well as multiple other short films. Puppett is also developing several projects, ranging from a suburban goth drama to a large scale fantasy film, all of which put a female protagonist at the front of the action.
