Danielle is a crip/queer artist & activist who works through video, performance art, writing, academic research, coaching, public speaking and grassroots organizing. She is currently a Ph.D student and Trudeau Scholar at the University of Alberta where she studies the relationships amongst disability, sport and human rights in Canada. In her past career she was a Paralympic athlete in the sport of wheelchair basketball.
