Jasmin Benward is an Artist (Author, Multidisciplinary Writer, Singer-Songwriter, Music Supervisor), Educator, and Family Wellness Instructor born in Texas and raised in Atlanta, Georgia who loves to storytell about Black, queer/marginalized experiences, and incorporate her love of music whenever possible. Jasmin received her BA from Georgia State University in Film followed by an M.S.Ed from the Metropolitan College of New York. Jasmin is repped by 22MediaWorks for children’s literature and received acceptance into the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) Amp program (‘22) for her promise in music. She is a cohort finalist in the inaugural Girls Who Listen x Jrumz songwriting camp (‘23). Jasmin is a current two-time *Music Supervision/Production Fellow (*soon be announced.) Jasmin is a current Creative Music Coordinator with Madden Flow Entertainment. Her editorial work can be found in the Black Femme Collective, Refinery29, Healthline, and Cashmere Magazine. Jasmin holds proud memberships to the Composers Diversity Collective, Guild of Music Supervisors, Women in Film, and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators amongst other inspired organizations. She lives in SoCal and considers NYC and ATL second homes.
