Sydney Baloue is a writer, producer, boxer, voguer, and the coordinator of events and programming at the Center for LGBTQ Studies at CUNY. In this interview, he takes us on a tour through the ballroom scenes of Paris, Berlin, and London, before describing his research—first in graduate school, and then independently—on the urban geography of the New York City ballroom scene.
