Ariel Mahler (she/they) is a transfemme director and screenwriter. She’s a current Directing Fellow and scholarship recipient at the American Film Institute (AFI) class of ‘23. In 2019, Ariel co-wrote and directed FLOCK, a short trans thriller. Ariel also co-created BAD ALLY, a farcical comedy web series, with Daquisha Jones.
