Angel Morris

Angel is a nonbinary editor and filmmaker based in San Diego, CA. After spending a decade editing for advertisements and commercials, Angel decided to chase their passion to cut for documentaries. They’ve had the opportunity to work on projects for companies such as PBS, Smithsonian Channel, World Wildlife Fund, Terra Mater, Jackson Wild, and more. In addition to freelance, they are currently an editor at Days Edge Productions and Think Lemonade Post. ​ One of Angel’s goals is to diversify the community of documentary filmmakers. They hope to eventually inspire other documentary filmmakers in the LGBTQ+ community to chase after their aspirations so that more stories can be heard, and more work can be done to take care of our planet and those on it. ​ When they aren't at the edit bay, they enjoy spending time with their wife and pets (two dogs and two parrots!), surfing, exploring, drinking coffee, and meeting new people. ​
