I am an artist and filmmaker working with themes of mutual aid, public imagination(s),
queer entanglements and critical geography. I draw on histories of radical street
performance, protests and processions in my videos, installation and collaborative
performance.
I tend to conjure worlds at once fantastical and yet eerily familiar. A deep sense
of play buoys fraught entanglements, as campy battles to defend community take place
in lushly constructed landscapes. Whether fiction, experimental documentary or somewhere
in-between, my work navigates the interstices between private and public histories
using speculative fiction and historical research as guides.
