Donnatella Maiorca is an Italian film director and actress known for Purple Sea (2009), Viol@ (1998) and Diritto di difesa (2004). Maiorca started her career in film as an actress, assistant director, and script editor, eventually directing her first documentary, Rai 3 (1996), and going on to direct her first feature film, Viol@ (1998).
