Holly Dale is one of Canadaʼs premiere directors recognized globally for her outstanding, award-winning television and cinema work crafted over the past twenty-five years. She is currently serving as the Producing Director on BATWOMAN, from DC Comic books safely navigating the transition from 1st season's Cap Crusader Ruby Rose to 2nd season breakout Javicia Leslie who looks like she'll be fighting crime for a while as the show was just picked up for a 3rd season. During her hiatus Holly was able to put her visual imprint onto another brand new series launching TRANSPLANT about a Syrian trauma surgeon who himself is the transplant. The series became a phenomenon both in Canada and the US debuting and ending the first season run as the #1 rated new series of 2020. Holly's block shooting of the first three hours of TRANSPLANT has been awarded the Director Guild of Canada's and the Canadian Screen Award as Best director award for 202/2021. The series was also awarded the trophy for Best Series -- which makes two wins for Ms Dale guiding a pilot to Best Series win twice in 3 years. Among the many prestigious awards she has earned includes the GEMINI Award for Best Director for the groundbreaking miniseries Durham County. The Directors Guild of Canada has recognized her as Best Director on four separate occasions, for her work on the acclaimed series Flashpoint, Being Erica and Mary Kills People, which Holly directed/co-executive produced the entire first season of six hours which Variety selected as one of the top ten series of 2017. Much like her multiple wins for TRANSPLANT, Ms Dale was honored with the trifecta of DGC and CSAwards as Best director; plus Best Series for Mary Kills People.
