Lauren Feiring

Lauren Feiring was born and raised in the Inland Empire, A network of commuter towns scarring the valleys between Los Angeles and the desert. After college, she moved to New York City, and ten thousand walks over the William-burg bridge later to Durham, North Carolina. Oscillare, shot on the Super 8 film, follows Alyson Bowles, who has been in the processes of transitioning from male to female for the last fifteen years in Inland Empire city of San Bernardino.

Lauren Feiring was born and raised in the Inland Empire region and lives in Brooklyn. She is currently working on a multimedia project on women with PCOS, as well as a short documentary that traces her grandmother’s migration from Mexico to the states, and the bilingual bridge she forged through music.
