Roland Wiryawan (RoW) is an avid filmmaker graduated from USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles, California. Majoring in Film Production, during his years in USC, he was a distinguished scholar, receiving scholarships from USC Asian Pacific Alumni Association and Norman Topping Student Aid Fund. During his time in USC, he was the founder and president of USC Asian American Cinema Association; and he was also the president of USC ASIS (USC Association of Indonesia Students). Due to his contributions in the areas of scholarship, leadership and service, he was one of the prestigious USC The Order of Troy recipients among his graduation class of 2012. In the recent years, Roland has been working back and forth between Indonesia and USA. He had made several videos featuring Indonesia’s high profile government members, Jusuf Kalla, Mari Pangestu, and Rini M. Soemarno. Roland is in the middle of production of several commercial/advertising videos, both in Indonesia and USA. Roland is in the development process of his feature film, “Mrs Wei,” an ensemble film about human trafficking set against the backdrop of a Chinese family and American dream. In his spare time, Roland devoted his time for culinary exploration and traveling.
