Cathy Spicer-Sitzes

I am a management focused creative professional adept at driving production goals with an emphasis on meeting deadlines, asset tracking, streamlining processes and project follow-through. Core competencies include: production/project coordination, customer support, tracking/analysis, managing team expectations and conveying cross department communications, troubleshooting/forecasting potential issues and generally keeping the calm.

As Manager, Communication Services, Cathy manages a team responsible for the maintenance and improvement of Verra’s website, including the overall functionality and SEO, as well as Verra’s intranet, newsletters, asset management, and other communication services for the organization. Before joining Verra, Cathy worked as a Digital Communications Specialist for UC Davis Health in Sacramento, California, where she managed the troubleshooting efforts of all web-related issues and trained editors on how to build and manage their department websites. Before UC Davis Health, she worked as the Web Master at the Lawrence Hall of Science at UC Berkeley. Cathy holds a bachelor’s degree in Animation & Visual Effects, which segued into nearly seven years at Dreamworks Animation. After leaving the animation/film industry, her focus shifted to the web. In her free time, she can be found enjoying time with her family, listening to podcasts, and trying to learn Portuguese.
