I’m a queer and trans director and producer living in Brooklyn. I'm also currently eating Flamin Hot Cheetos. I was born in Chicago, but my parents live in the suburbs. I still claim Chicago despite this. Some of my films include The Script, Caro Comes Out, Across, Beyond, and Over, Botanical Black, and trans·ience. I produce nonfiction and fiction films including Crystal Kayiza’s Sundance Short Film Jury Award Winner Rest Stop, Lydia Cornett’s Bug Farm, and Amy Jenkins’ feature documentary, Adam’s Apple. I'm an alum of the Creative Culture Fellowship and the Sundance Ignite Fellowship. I’m currently in GLAAD’s Equity in Media and Entertainment Initiative and the Gotham & HBO Documentary Films Documentary Development Initiative. I graduated from Carleton College's Cinema and Media Studies Program, where I made a lot of weird stuff.
