Coy is a six-year-old like any other. She goes to school, plays with her siblings,
and is really into Wonder Woman. When she is banned from the girls' bathroom at school
because she's trans, her family files a complaint and goes public with a landmark
civil rights case. Under scrutiny by the media, they struggle to find a balance between
protecting themselves and fighting for Coy's rights. In the light of the ongoing fight
for transgender rights here in Washington, this film could not be timelier, asking,
"How far would you go to fight for your child's equal rights?"
