A cooperative of transsexual, transgender, and self-identified "she-males" come together
to learn theatre and produce performances for the express purpose of providing support,
training, and opportunities to help get prostitutes off the street—and help themselves.
They take matters into their own hands, becoming teachers and students in adult technical
schools. The women, who span the age spectrum, speak freely about the difficulties
of getting jobs and being fully integrated into the larger culture and society. Winner
of the Best Documentary Film award at the 13th Muestra Internacional de Cine LGBT.
