UP TO ME tells the story of Maarit, a beautiful, intelligent, and sexy transwoman
who is estranged from her daughter. When she meets and falls in love with Sami, a
soccer coach, teacher, and family man, she finally feels like she fits in. But Sami
is soon put to the test, questioning his attractions and forced to confront his own
deeply hidden prejudices. Maarit, in turn, must find the bravery to reconcile with
her previous life in order to reconnect with her daughter.
