Statu(e)s

A four-part story where a non-binary person, who presents as a compound of soft-boy, fag, femme representations, goes through a four stages of trans awareness.
CHAPTER 1- Marbel index: Barcelona, Montjuic cruising area, this person aka Fennel the faggy vegetable, seeks sexual encounters on Grindr, but besides fucking they wants to destroy the patriarchy and feels the difficulty in navigating “cis-masc-gayness” in a socialized female body.
CHAPTER 2 - Inter-Lube: They finds queer consolation in the arms of the Statues they meets as they walks around the mountain (hence Statu(e)s, a union between status on dating socials and the Statues)
CHAPTER 3 - Whats(o)up: Experiences dissident BDSM pleasures with other plants and veggies. The title mocks the most common expression of greeting in dating by mixing it with a hypothetical orgy of vegetables: a soup.
CHAPTER 4 - Ma(s)c 4 Ma(s)c: They goes back to war using extra make-up like military camouflage, masculinizing their features while mocking the stereotypes of certain unconscious masculinities using the masc for masc rhetoric of gay chats mixed with the logo of a famous make-up brand for the title.
