This is a film about my gender dysphoria, displayed abstractly using westernized, stereotypically binary male and female imagery contrasted with the act of singing Blondie’s ‘Heart of Glass’. I compare cars moving away from the camera to the standards of masculine and feminine beauty moving away from my body. The blonde, thin, and white playboy model is collaged over a New York street. Sudden self-portrait sequences of my body, in action throughout my bathroom, contrast the video'ed motion from an every-day sidewalk.
