Saan Ka Galing explores the ways in which one’s performance of identity is shaped
by Filipino-American immigration, societal expectations of success, and the growth
of a family. This experimental dance film journeys through personally significant
locations in San Francisco as lived and narrated by the director’s grandfather, Jaime
Casido Torres.
