Two hands of light skin tone are seen from above, held above a backdrop of black and red illustrations. One hand is emerging from the upper left side of the image, featuring nude and sparkled nail extensions, an elaborate tattoo of a rose extending up from the wrist onto the hand, moon phase tattoos on the lower digit of each finger, and Indigenous tattoo markings on the upper digit of each finger. The other hand is emerging from the lower right side of the image, and is comparatively unmarked, with the exception of the lower digits, which feature the same Indigenous tattoo markings that are present on the upper digits of the upper hand.
Description

The COVID-19 pandemic has radically changed the ways in which we gather together and share. This affects artist Dayna Danger, whose practice is rooted in interconnectedness and family ties. How can we stay digitally connected when physical intimacy remains impossible? Through this video, Danger explores themes of process, connection, language, burnout and learning to fail.
