The World of Gender

Horizon Institute's Professional Training Series is a specialized training program designed to meet the needs of helping professionals and the communities and paracultures they serve. "The World of Gender" series attempts to explain the concepts of sex, gender, and sexual orientation and introduce "gender diversity" to everyone who might have contact with a gender diverse individual. Interviewer Steve Keller discusses the fascinating subject with Ari Kane, M.Ed., a noted therapist who works with transsexuals, gender dysphorics, crossdressers and other gender diverse people. Ari Kane is a Diplomate in Sexology with the American Board of Sexologists. He has lectured and written extensively on the subject of gender and has worked with many gender diverse people in his practice. "The World of Gender" series is produced by Horizon Institute in association with The Outreach Institute. Each program in the series explores a different aspect of gender.
