Thai Film Foundation

Location

Thailand

Description

The Thai Film Foundation was set up independently as a non-profit organization to lend a voice to independent filmmakers in Thailand. Trusted by many local filmmakers, it has been a successful link to smaller Thai features and short films, which have traveled the globe through film festivals and independent screenings. Their website remains a link for local filmmakers to outside happenings in the international film world. No funding schemes available although the Foundation often helps arrange for English subtitling for short films for no or minimal charge. Contact the Thai Film Foundation for a lead into the independent filmmaking scene in Thailand.
