A curated collection of indie adult films, PinkLabel.TV brings the festival to you! Inspired by the creativity and originality of the erotic movies she saw at international adult film festivals, director Shine Louise Houston created PinkLabel.TV to provide a streaming platform that supports emerging and independent adult filmmakers and presents their films to a global audience. Often described as a “Criterion Collection” of sexual cinema, PinkLabel.TV’s catalogue hosts a wide array of films. Viewers can discover movies spanning softcore to hardcore, narrative and experimental, historical films from as early as the 1920’s, documentaries, and more. Films that push the genre give challenge to conventional expectations of what sex should look like, with much needed depictions of underrepresented bodies and desires. Originally launched in 2012, the site is now home to over 2000 unique, award-winning films spanning classic to contemporary titles, with an average of 20 releases added each month. Members can create a basic account to rent films a la carte, or enjoy unlimited access with a PinkLabel+ subscription. Gift cards are also available.

    Film adaptation of memoir published by a trans, intersex German-Jewish person in 1907. Presumed lost.

  • The upper half of the image features a person with short bleach-blonde hair laying their head on a shaggy grey carpet. Their eyes are closed and their eyebrows raised, seemingly in reaction to something which is happening out of frame. The lower half of the image features a vinyl record being played on a turntable. Just below the record is the title of the film, "Put the Needle on the Record." Beneath the title is a bunch of smaller text with various credits for cast and crew.
